Accountable for designing and developing sales compensation solutions using Varicent version 10, including calculations, reports, and data models.
Maintain application sustainability and availability by setting policies, governance, and optimizing queries, workflows, and reports on the Varicent Incentive Compensation Management platform.
Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical deliverables and troubleshoot complex business issues.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
8+ years of development and/or implementation experience using modern technologies.
5+ years’ development experience specifically with Varicent ICM modules (Composer, Portal Access, Task Manager, QueryTool, Presenter).
Experience with code proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (Python, .Net, Perl, Java) and familiarity with DevOps tools (GitHub, TeamCity, Octopus, Jenkins).
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced Varicent subject matter expert with strong technical skills in compensation management and data engineering mindset.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment collaborating cross-functionally with engineering and business teams.
Familiarity with AWS cloud services and CI/CD processes and capable of producing technical documentation, architecture, and accurate solutions.
