Design, build, and execute comprehensive test plans for data center switching platforms focusing on Junos/Sonic on Broadcom-based hardware.
Conduct functional, interoperability, scale, and convergence tests on complex multi-stage IP Clos fabrics and AI/ML fabric use cases including RoCEv2 traffic, lossless Ethernet, and congestion management.
Automate test workflows, identify and document software defects, and present test results to customers during PoC reviews and technical deep-dives.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or related field.
7-10 years of experience in network software/testing/engineering/TAC/escalation roles.
Strong proficiency with data center NOS CLI (Junos, NX-OS, EOS, SONiC), BGP/EVPN-VXLAN protocols, and traffic generation tools (Ixia/Keysight, Spirent).
Onsite work location required at an HPE office.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in designing and validating complex IP Clos fabrics and AI/ML data center fabric networking, including advanced traffic profiles and tuning.
Proficient in scripting and test automation using Python, pytest, Ansible, and familiar with SONiC NOS, SAI architectures, and telemetry tools.
Skilled in customer PoC lab execution, defect triage, and technical presentations, with preferred certifications like JNCIP-DC/JNCIE-DC or CCNP/CCIE Data Center.
