Build and enhance Azure telemetry using KQL, and set standards for instrumenting services with OpenTelemetry across product teams.
Define service level objectives and error budgets, leading reliability conversations and setting technical standards for the observability domain.
Minimum Requirements
Several years of experience in observability, site reliability, or platform engineering with independent delivery capability.
Deep expertise in Grafana dashboards and multiple data sources.
Strong experience with Azure monitoring, especially Log Analytics and KQL.
Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools, ideally Terraform. Work Experience Required: Several years in relevant observability or SRE roles.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Demonstrates strong ownership mindset and judgement to tackle unfamiliar parts of the observability stack independently.
Experienced in end-to-end observability solutions with a focus on Grafana and Azure Monitor.
Comfortable working in modern cloud environments with some exposure or willingness to learn OpenTelemetry, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices.
