Design, build, and execute test plans for data center switching platforms including functional, interoperability, scale, and convergence testing of BGP and EVPN-VXLAN overlays.
Replicate multi-stage IP Clos fabric network architectures and validate AI/ML data center fabric use cases including RoCEv2 traffic profiles and lossless Ethernet tuning.
Use traffic generators (Ixia/Keysight, Spirent) for traffic profiling and document software defects collaborating with development teams; automate tests using Python, pytest, Ansible, or similar frameworks.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or related field.
7 - 10 years of experience in network software/testing/engineering/TAC/escalation roles.
Strong hands-on experience with data center NOS like Junos, NX-OS, EOS, SONiC and traffic generation/analysis tools such as Ixia/Keysight IxNetwork or Spirent.
Onsite work required at an HPE office; strong expertise in IPCLOS fabric architecture, BGP, EVPN-VXLAN, IPv6, and AI/ML fabric testing including RoCEv2, PFC, ECN, DCQCN tuning.
Experienced in running customer Proof of Concept labs or functional testing for network equipment vendors or hyperscalers involving AI fabric validation.
Proficient in scripting and automation (Python, pytest, Robot Framework, Ansible) and familiar with SONiC NOS architecture and Broadcom SDKs.
Strong troubleshooting skills across control plane, data plane, and physical layer with ability to produce detailed test documentation and present technical findings to customers.
