Architect, build, and optimize enterprise reporting solutions including dashboards, semantic models, transformations, and embedded analytics primarily using Power BI and associated technologies.
Design scalable semantic layers and establish reporting engineering standards covering source control, testing, documentation, release management, and production readiness.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Data teams to translate needs into scalable analytics, and mentor engineers and analysts on consistent reporting practices.
Minimum Requirements
8+ years experience in reporting, BI, analytics engineering, enterprise data, or cloud data platform solutions.
Deep hands-on expertise with Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query, semantic modeling, data refresh management, security, and performance optimization.
Proficiency with SQL including complex queries, views, stored procedures, and data transformation logic.
Experience with Azure, Azure Synapse, Power BI, AWS, and modern cloud data environments.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Senior-level BI or analytics engineer with strong bias towards Power BI and modern cloud data platforms (Azure/AWS).
Experienced in designing governed, scalable data semantic layers and operationalizing production-ready BI solutions with robust validation and monitoring.
Comfortable driving engineering standards and mentoring teams to adopt consistent applied reporting engineering best practices.
