About This Role

Own end-to-end feature development lifecycle for Cisco's cloud-based SaaS product Cisco IQ, collaborating with Product, Design, and engineering teams.

Write clean, maintainable, tested code using AI and agentic development tools daily.

Identify and resolve blockers, improve team workflows, and contribute to technical decisions and code reviews.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum 3 years professional software development experience with production-quality code in languages like Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, or C++.

At least 2 years experience developing or integrating RESTful APIs including CRUD operations, HTTP methods, and error handling.

Minimum 1 year experience writing unit tests, using Git workflows, and SQL queries.

Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, secure coding practices, and ability to debug application issues.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experienced with layered application architectures and SaaS, microservices, or cloud concepts.

Familiar with design patterns, scalability concepts, and use of logs/metrics for troubleshooting and performance analysis.

Comfortable using AI-based coding assistants consistently with critical review of generated code, and flexible to work across frontend, backend, and APIs in a collaborative team environment.
