Design, develop, test, and support multi-threaded and multi-process software components for satellite communications systems using C++ on Linux within an Agile SCRUM team.
Analyze requirements and participate in software architecture, performance, and reliability decisions for satellite systems and related products.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during deployment and collaborate across software, firmware, embedded, and test engineering teams.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in mathematics, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of industry experience in programming and software engineering.
Strong proficiency in C++ with object-oriented design and programming knowledge, including multi-threading and real-time embedded systems.
Experience developing software on Linux with knowledge of TCP/IP networking and socket programming.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in structured software development environments with technical leadership and mentoring capabilities.
Ability to actively contribute in a collaborative, fast-paced Agile SCRUM team involving cross-disciplinary engineers.
Exposure or knowledge of 3GPP standards, 5G architecture, cloud technologies (AWS/Azure), and experience with professional development tools (git, Jira, Jenkins, GDB, Valgrind) is preferred but not mandatory.
