Own end-to-end oversight and governance of Corporate Accounts Payable activities including Indirect Tax, Payee Operations, Accounting and Payment processes within Global Financial Control India.
Serve as the senior subject-matter expert on US GAAP, IFRS, indirect tax, and payment compliance controls, providing interpretation, guidance, and driving stakeholder alignment on complex accounting and tax matters.
Lead transition, stabilization and transformation initiatives such as automation and process standardization to ensure control effectiveness, audit readiness, and mitigation of financial, compliance and operational risks.
12-15 years of relevant experience in Corporate Accounts Payable, Accounting, Tax, Payment Operations, Risk and Controls, or related finance operations preferably in banking or financial services.
Mandatory Qualifications: Chartered Accountant or CPA certifications (e.g. IFRS Diploma).
Strong expertise in US GAAP, IFRS, indirect tax requirements, payment compliance controls, and financial controls within banking/financial services or global finance operations.
Job Location: Gurugram; Work Timings: 9-hour shift (11:30 AM – 8:30 PM) with flexibility to support global stakeholders and critical priorities.
Experienced leader in high-risk finance process oversight with a control-focused mindset and ability to maintain audit readiness and manage issue remediation.
Skilled in cross-functional stakeholder management across Finance, Procurement, Compliance, Corporate Tax, Risk, and Audit at an executive communication level.
Ability to drive transformation initiatives including automation, AI-enabled solutions, process standardization and control optimization within a complex, deadline-driven global environment.
