Build, maintain, and govern enterprise business glossary and data catalogue using Microsoft Purview, engaging stakeholders to establish agreed-upon data definitions and metadata standards.
Capture and document end-to-end data lineage with change impact analysis to proactively identify affected downstream systems and reports.
Develop and implement automated data quality rules and frameworks in collaboration with data owners, leading root cause analyses and moving towards preventative controls at data capture points.
3+ years experience in Data Governance, Data Quality, or Data Management in a large or complex organization.
Hands-on experience with at least two of the following: Business Glossary, Data Catalogue, Data Lineage, or Data Quality.
Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with Microsoft Purview is desirable but not mandatory.
Experienced in setting up or administering data governance frameworks and tools, ideally Microsoft Purview, with capability to sustain catalogue health post-implementation.
Comfortable working cross-functionally with business stakeholders and technology teams to resolve conflicting data definitions and embed stewardship models.
Proven ability to translate business risk into practical data quality governance and metrics, ensuring measurable outcomes in data quality improvement.
