Technical Lead (Core Java) - Assistant Vice President

Lead and manage a team responsible for applications systems analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and support aligned with business needs.

Oversee feasibility studies, IT planning, risk technology, and ensure adherence to development standards and security measures for Java-based enterprise applications.

Act as subject matter expert and advisor to senior stakeholders and junior analysts; report progress and collaborate with a global technology team.

8+ years of programming experience in Java/JEE including multithreading and Spring/Spring Batch frameworks.

Strong knowledge of microservices and distributed systems architecture.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Proficient in SQL query development and Unix commands usage; experience with Agile development process.

Experience in enterprise Java backend development with a focus on high-performance optimization and scalable microservices.

Competent in leading projects and teams with ability to mentor junior staff and interact with senior business and technology stakeholders.

Familiarity with Python and AI tools is an advantage but not required; comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and global environment.
