Own the strategic direction, roadmap, and health metrics of the design system as a product, ensuring alignment with design team needs and product evolution.
Design, build, and maintain a comprehensive library of reusable components and govern design token architecture ensuring accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.2 AA) and system evolution without breaking apps.
Collaborate deeply with design and engineering teams to ensure adoption, bridge design-to-engineering gaps, document system usage, and support component implementation and onboarding.
Significant experience building and scaling a design system in a large consumer-facing product organization.
Strong production-grade front-end engineering skills, specifically writing clean, well-tested React or equivalent framework components.

Must live within commutable distance of Bengaluru, India with the right to work and live in India; minimum 3 days/week in-office work expected.
Strategic thinker able to define and execute a design system roadmap as a product owner, balancing adoption metrics and evolving product needs.
Hybrid design-engineering background with strong design sensibility and technical expertise to make foundational decisions on components and token architecture.
Experienced collaborator who can translate between design and engineering teams effectively and govern multiple teams’ contributions to the design system.
