Staff Engineer - Performance Engineering

Lead and scale performance engineering strategy across the organization focusing on cloud-native, serverless, and distributed SaaS platforms.

Architect and build scalable, AI-driven performance platforms enabling autonomous performance testing and analysis across teams.

Drive integration of performance testing into CI/CD pipelines and own performance in production using observability and monitoring tools.

8+ years of performance engineering experience in large-scale SaaS or cloud-native environments.

Proficiency with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or Locust and strong knowledge of serverless architectures (e.g., AWS Lambda).

Experience with performance monitoring/observability tools like CloudWatch, Datadog, or New Relic and CI/CD integration.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Experienced senior-level performance engineer (Staff/Lead) with 3+ years in leadership roles driving platform-wide performance initiatives.

Deep expertise in designing and executing large-scale performance tests and optimizing event-driven, distributed, and serverless systems.

Strong background in building AI/ML-driven performance optimization solutions and influencing architectural decisions across teams.
