Senior Software Engineer (Golang / Python / Java / Kubernetes / Cloud / Microservices / Distributed)

Own end-to-end software development lifecycle for an open-source distributed application platform, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and production reliability.

Lead complex development initiatives and mentor junior engineers within a small development team (3-8 engineers).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (dev, ops, product) to solve complex problems and apply DevOps best practices for a global 24x7 operation.

8+ years of commercial software development experience delivering complex technical solutions.

Proficiency in Java, SQL, and at least one other modern programming language (e.g., Golang, Python).

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related field.

Strong communication skills with ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams.

Experienced in building and maintaining distributed, scalable open-source software platforms in cloud and on-premise environments.

Capable of taking full ownership of software delivery from requirements to production and mentoring others technically.

Operates effectively within small, collaborative teams working in fast-paced, complex technical environments involving DevOps and 24x7 operations.
