Own and architect the end-to-end Azure-based 8-stage regulatory content pipeline covering requirement intake, book monitoring, XML generation, file delivery, and QA acknowledgement.
Define API contracts and event-driven integration patterns (using Kafka/Azure Service Bus) for automation targets and set engineering standards across the squad.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers, lead technical design reviews, and partner with Engineering Manager on sprint planning and risk management.
Minimum Requirements
5+ years backend/distributed systems engineering experience with prior tech-lead or architect responsibility.
Expertise in Python API development (FastAPI) and REST API design.
Strong Azure cloud experience including compute, storage, networking, and identity.
Experience with Kafka or Azure Service Bus and event-driven architecture; working knowledge of XML Schema and structured content pipelines.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Proven system design and architecture skills focusing on high-volume, scalable, fault-tolerant distributed pipelines.
Experienced in performance engineering with profiling, load analysis, tuning & APM tools (New Relic, Datadog, or similar).
Comfortable leading technical standards and mentoring a multidisciplinary engineering squad in a fast-paced RegTech/SaaS environment.
