Provide 24x7 threat monitoring, detection, and incident response including alert triage, incident validation, and prioritization per SOPs.
Develop and maintain incident management and response policies, ensuring adherence to SLAs and KPIs, aiming to reduce Mean Time to Detection (MTTD) and Mean Time to Response (MTTR).
Analyze security incidents post-incident, preserve forensic artefacts, and report/escalate incidents to stakeholders for efficient Cyber Defense.
2-5 years of relevant experience in SOC, Incident Management, Incident Response, Threat Detection Engineering, Vulnerability Management, or related areas.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (B.Tech, MCA, MBA with IT background).
Mandatory certification: One among Certified SOC Analyst (EC-Council), CHFI (EC-Council), CEH (EC-Council), CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), or equivalent.
Product certifications on SOC Security Tools like SIEM, Vulnerability Management, DAM, UBA, SOAR, NBA preferred but not mandatory.
Experienced in hands-on SOC operations with solid knowledge of threat detection, incident management, and security monitoring processes.
Comfortable working in 24x7 operational environments focusing on operational metrics such as MTTD and MTTR reductions.
Preferably familiar with SOC tools like Splunk and capable of maintaining policies and procedures in a structured incident response context.
