Design, build, and maintain production-grade backend services using Node.js and TypeScript for banking and fintech clients.
Integrate large language models (LLMs) and AI services (Azure OpenAI, OpenAI API, AWS Bedrock) into scalable backend systems with real SLAs.
Develop and optimize RESTful APIs, data layers (PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB), RAG pipelines with vector databases, and deploy on Azure/AWS cloud platforms.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 5 years of backend engineering experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
Hands-on production experience integrating LLMs and AI services, not limited to experimentation.
Experience with at least two of the following databases: PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB.
Experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud services and automated testing using Jest and Playwright.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience in regulated industries such as banking or fintech with knowledge of PII handling and audit logging.
Strong understanding of AI integration components like vector databases, RAG pipelines, and multi-model orchestration.
Proven ability to build scalable backend systems with real production SLAs and operational responsibility in cloud environments.
