Manage and optimize a secure, highly available Snowflake platform environment across multiple stages (Dev, UAT, Pre-Prod, Prod) with 24x7 rotational shift responsibility.
Automate platform operations including disaster recovery failovers, FinOps cost control, identity lifecycle management (SCIM), and lead L1/L2 support engineers.
Act as primary L3 escalation point handling critical incidents, conduct DR drills, manage vendor support, and configure telemetry integrations for platform monitoring.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related technical field.
Minimum 5 years of IT/Operations experience with at least 5 years dedicated to Snowflake platform administration and architecture.
Experience operating in a 24x7 rotational shift model and handling ITIL-based incident/change management with ServiceNow/Jira.
Required certification: SnowPro Core; SnowPro Advanced Administrator preferred; Terraform, AWS/Azure, or ITIL 4 certifications are a plus.
Expertise in designing and implementing complex RBAC and SCIM automated user provisioning within Snowflake.
Proven skills automating platform administration using Python, SnowSQL, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) with CI/CD pipelines.
Experience guiding support engineers and managing enterprise-scale FinOps strategies for Snowflake platform cost optimization.
