Lead Full Stack Engineer, Payments Architecture

Provide end-to-end technical leadership for Payment Transaction Remediation (PTR) across multiple payments platform workstreams covering 22 markets and 6 payment rails.

Own critical architecture decisions for PTR remediation scopes in Workstream 2 releases 5 to 10 and anomaly detection systems in Workstream 4.

Ensure delivery efforts are executable, risk-managed, technically aligned and drive measurable stability and risk reduction in multi-market payment platforms.

10+ years of work experience in architecture/design for enterprise-scale payment platforms in regulated banking.

Strong proficiency in backend development including Java, GoLang, Messaging, and API development within payments domain architecture.

Experience with distributed systems reliability concepts such as atomicity, idempotency, consistency and service decomposition/integration architecture.

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent; certifications in architecture or payments preferred.

Experienced in leading technical architecture and design for complex, cross-border, multi-rail payment systems within regulated environments.

Capable of translating complex architecture into implementation-ready designs and managing multi-stakeholder dependencies across business, risk, and engineering teams.

Strong domain expertise in payments reliability engineering, incident analysis, and data-led anomaly detection solution design.
