Define integration test scope and strategy by analyzing customer Functional Requirements and Technical Design Packages.
Design, develop, and maintain automated integration test cases in Embedded C++ for ctrlX PLC IO modules and accessories, validating hardware-software integration and industrial communication protocols.
Debug and troubleshoot integration issues on target hardware, collaborate with cross-location engineering teams, and maintain test documentation and defect reports to ensure quality release processes.
Minimum Requirements
5-10 years of work experience in related fields.
Strong programming experience in Embedded C++ with knowledge of C++17 and PLC IO modules.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering or equivalent (BE/B.Tech/M.Tech).
Hands-on knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as EtherCAT CoE, EoE, CAN, M-Bus, RS232/RS485.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in Linux-based embedded systems and embedded runtime environments with understanding of real-time constraints.
Proficient in debugging and troubleshooting software on target hardware with exposure to cross-compilation and build systems for embedded targets.
Capable of mentoring junior engineers, participating in technical reviews, and driving continuous improvements in integration testing.
