Provide 24/7 primary support and proactive monitoring for RedHat Linux, Centos, Ubuntu & AIX servers using standard tools.
Design, implement, and maintain solutions involving Git, Veritas Cluster & Volume Manager, SAN/NAS management, automation (Ansible/Puppet), and system lifecycle management.
Manage incident resolution, disaster recovery support, configuration, environment planning, and collaborate with developers and third-party vendors to mitigate risks and ensure resilience.
7+ years of experience in Linux/UNIX environments, specifically with RedHat Enterprise Linux 6.x to 9.x, Centos, Ubuntu, and AIX.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
Must have strong skills in RedHat Ansible Automation Platform, Veritas Cluster & VxVM, Shell scripting, and experience with SAN/NAS management and Linux system upgrades.
Willingness to work on 24x7 support, including on-call, weekends, and incident response outside office hours.
Experienced in financial services IT infrastructure with strong hands-on expertise in Linux system administration and automation tools in production environments.
Able to communicate complex technical scenarios effectively to non-technical and senior technical stakeholders.
Comfortable managing critical system resilience and disaster recovery processes while working collaboratively across multiple teams and vendors.
