Manage and support customer-facing software activities including escalation management, upgrades, patch creation/testing, and maintenance of installed base health at customer sites.
Investigate, troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software/system-level issues through log analysis, code review, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure root cause identification and issue closure.
Partner with development, program management, and engineering teams to support new product/feature introductions ensuring Alpha, Beta, and customer readiness, including creating customer-facing documentation and providing hands-on software support during customer visits.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, preferably Computer Science/Electronics/Information Technology.
5 to 8 years of work experience.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills; working knowledge of Computer Architecture and Operating Systems.
Prior experience in a customer management role is mandatory.
Experience working in semiconductor equipment manufacturing and/or real-time control systems preferred.
Ability to bridge technical customer support and software development through cross-functional collaboration and communication.
Track record of managing software support and escalation in customer-facing environments ensuring product stability and readiness for production use.
