Mid-level role with niche Splunk and observability skills at a known employer yields moderate competition.
Core infrastructure and observability skills (Azure, VMware, Splunk, Terraform) are moderately transferable across industries.
Explicit 5-9 years plus mandatory Splunk/Azure/automation and architecture experience increases shortlisting strictness.
