Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience managing large-scale middleware environments including Solace appliances, IBM MQ (Appliance, x86, zLinux), and Kafka (Confluent platform).
Proficiency in middleware operations such as firmware upgrades, patching, TLS/SSL certificate management, troubleshooting hardware/production issues, and vendor coordination.
Experience with automation/scripting (Python, Bash, Ansible) and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk).
Work Experience Required: Minimum 4+ years in Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions or equivalent (via work, training, military, education).
Experienced in managing and migrating enterprise-scale middleware including IBM MQ, Confluent Kafka, and Solace PubSub+ across on-premise and cloud environments.
Strong technical troubleshooting capability with deep knowledge of middleware clustering, high availability, security (certificates, ACLs), and performance tuning.
Familiar with BFSI sector compliance, risk management practices, and ITIL v4 processes, able to integrate risk controls into middleware operations.
