Manage day-to-day operations of cocoa nurseries, ensuring adherence to processes and close monitoring of KPIs for performance improvement.
Lead cocoa area development including farmer identification, training on Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), and implementing sustainability initiatives with government and third-party partners.
Oversee cocoa procurement operations from quality control, documentation, to dispatch; engage in community development and liaise with government stakeholders to support Cocoa Life programs.
Educational Qualification: BSc in Agriculture/Horticulture/Forestry or MSc in Botany; exceptional diplomas in Agriculture considered.
Experience: 0–4 years in agriculture, horticulture, or related field; experience in seed or fertilizer companies also considered; freshers welcome.
Language: Knowledge of South Indian languages, ideally Telugu and Hindi, is essential.
Practical field readiness required due to extensive farm visits; no relocation support offered.
Demonstrates strong agronomy and horticulture skills with hands-on nursery and field management experience.
Ability to independently manage complex operations involving farmer training, government liaison, and third-party coordination.
Proficient in analytics, communication, negotiation, and basic computer skills (AI, Excel, PowerPoint); capable of managing multi-stakeholder sustainability programs.
