Define and drive technical direction and architecture for multi-language SDKs, CLI workflows, IDE integrations, and developer automation across OSS and SaaS environments.
Own and evolve the SDK generator framework, standards, release/versioning strategy, and ensure cross-language consistency, performance, and maintainability for developer tooling.
Lead open source development including reviewing community contributions, improving contribution workflows, and mentoring engineering team members.
8+ years of software engineering experience with significant work building SDKs, developer platforms, or tooling.
Proficiency in at least one of these languages: Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, C# .NET, Python, or Java.
Experience with SDK design principles, API ergonomics, code generation systems (e.g. OpenAPI Generator), authentication flows, retry strategies, rate limiting, GitHub Actions, and release workflows.
Experience in open source projects with PR contribution models; maintaining or leading open source projects preferred.
Experienced in multi-language SDK architecture and cross-language consistency to ensure unified developer experience.
Able to influence technical direction and collaborate effectively across distributed, open source teams and internal stakeholders.
Strong engineering leadership evident by mentoring others and driving high engineering standards in testing, CI/CD, and developer documentation.
