Software Engineering Senior Manager

Manage and develop teams of engineers and engineering managers responsible for delivering high-quality software capabilities using modern technology, ensuring alignment with Banking Platform Architecture and non-functional requirements.

Serve as technical representative during cross-team collaboration, influencing technical strategies including cloud readiness, application modernization, and data strategy, while managing software development cycles and security standards.

Oversee resource allocation, escalate and resolve technology roadblocks, coach teams on engineering best practices, and collaborate with product managers to align technology priorities with business objectives.

7+ years of Software Engineering experience (including work experience, training, military experience, or education).

3+ years of leadership or management experience in IT environments.

Experience managing teams with 25+ technology members.

Work Experience Required: 7+ years in software engineering and 3+ years in management, with experience in Financial Crimes related applications and Full Stack Java development, SQL Server, and AI technologies (explicitly mentioned as desired but critical to role).

Proven ability to lead large engineering teams and provide technical thought leadership in collaboration with architecture teams, preferably in financial services or related sectors.
