Develop and map automotive diagnostic content for aftermarket diagnostic tester software across various vehicle systems (engine, electric/hybrid, ADAS, etc.).
Analyze vehicle communication bus logs, simulate automotive systems, and create diagnostic workflows/test sequences using specialized IDEs.
Conduct on-vehicle validation, benchmarking, reverse engineering, and generate test coverage reports for diagnostic tools across multiple vehicle brands and markets.
Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in aftersales vehicle service, diagnostics, and troubleshooting preferably in OEM dealerships/workshops.
Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in automotive diagnostic content development.
Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot to make vehicles roadworthy.
Familiarity with diagnostic testers such as VIDA, Xentry, GDS, ADT, SDT-II, DiagBox, HDS, Launch, Autel, G-Scan, Zenith and knowledge of Bosch ESI [tronic], CAN, CAN FD, DoIP, UDS, J1939, BDX, and use of Vector or Samtec analyzer/simulation tools.
Experienced with detailed OEM system descriptions, service and repair manuals, and independent handling of multiple diagnostic testers.
Capable of end-to-end content creation from requirement specification through validation and testing in a global team environment, including on-site workshop visits.
Strong technical background in automotive diagnostics with cross-functional collaboration experience and reverse engineering skills.
