Own end-to-end diagnostic content creation and specification for automotive aftermarket diagnostic tester software across multiple vehicle systems (engine, electric, braking, ADAS, etc.).
Analyze vehicle communication bus logs; simulate automotive systems; design workflows and test sequences for diagnostic tools.
Validate diagnostic content on vehicles, evaluate aftermarket tester coverage across brands/markets, prepare test reports, and collaborate with global engineering teams.
Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in automotive aftermarket/aftersales vehicle diagnostics and content development.
Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, components, and ability to diagnose and troubleshoot to make vehicles roadworthy.
Experience with multiple OEM and aftermarket diagnostic testers (e.g., VIDA, Xentry, Bosch ESI [tronic], etc.) and familiarity with CAN, CAN FD, DoIP, UDS, J1939 protocols.
Educational Qualification: B.E/B.Tech in Automotive Engineering or related field preferred, but not strictly mandatory.
Practitioner with demonstrated ability to independently handle and develop diagnostic test workflows and tooling primarily in automotive aftermarket environments.
Experienced in working closely with software engineering and technical experts in global teams, capable of on-vehicle validation and real-world troubleshooting.
Technically skilled with automotive diagnostic protocols and analyzer/simulation tools such as Vector/Samtec HSX, BDX-Bosch Data Extension, combined with practical exposure to various OEM diagnostic tester tools.
