Design and develop AI-enabled applications for Ciena's Navigator Network Control Suite focusing on network performance, automation, and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AIOps capabilities and analyze large datasets to support data-driven decisions.

Bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience developing AI software for AIOps or Data Science use cases.
Hands-on experience with LLMs, transformers, agentic frameworks, and RAG techniques; programming skills in Python, Java, or C++.
Experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow or PyTorch), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), microservice-based software, and network management protocols.
Experience applying AI/ML solutions within network management or AIOps product environments, preferably related to Ciena’s domain.
Proven ability to build scalable, production-ready AI software integrating cloud and container tools.
Technical proficiency in advanced AI methods including transformer models, agentic AI, and RAG for enterprise network solutions.
