Develop and maintain high-level PLC, HMI, and motion controller programs with emphasis on motion programming for OEM industrial machinery and special purpose machines.
Design and implement automation and control systems using Rockwell (Allen-Bradley) primarily, and possibly B&R, Siemens, or other suppliers, including documentation and diagnostics.
Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to production, engineering teams, and customers; engage in equipment testing, commissioning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Mechatronics engineering, or related field from an accredited university.
Minimum 15 years of experience in controls or automation engineering focused on industrial manufacturing equipment with motion control and system integration.
Mandatory skills: proficiency in Allen-Bradley PLCs (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, PLC5, SLC500), PanelView HMIs, industrial communication networks, electrical power distribution, machine safety (UL508A), engineering documentation (ACAD).
Willingness and ability to travel up to 20%, including occasional international; valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a passport required.
Strategic operator with deep domain expertise in industrial automation for OEM machinery in industries like food, consumer products, pharmaceutical, packaging, or converting.
Experience leading complex control system design projects and collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, production, and service teams in a high-intensity environment.
Preference for candidates with OEM background in paper, packaging, printing machine building, demonstrating strong ownership from design through deployment and troubleshooting.
