Lead engineering activities for design, acquisition, and deployment of hardware, software, and network infrastructure supporting VMware Virtualization Platform.
Serve as subject matter expert for VMware-related technologies and provide direction on controls, compliance initiatives, and technology roadmap within the group.
Identify system enhancements, recommend product customizations, and advise on risk assessment and control issue management to safeguard firm assets and reputation.
6-10 years of relevant engineering experience, including VMware Virtualization (VCF, Automation, Software Defined Network) and VMware tools such as HCX.
Experience in Financial Services or large, complex/global environments.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Master’s degree preferred.
Project Management experience.
Strong expertise in VMware virtualization technologies combined with proven ability to lead engineering projects and advise stakeholders on technology strategy and compliance.
Skilled in analytic/diagnostic approaches and managing system integration enhancements in a matrix organizational environment.
Experience working in high-pressure, deadline-driven settings within large-scale or global financial services technology teams.
