Lead end-to-end Web Application Firewall (WAF) implementation for applications, APIs, and internet services including technical discovery, configuration, testing, validation, cutover, and post-implementation review.
Coordinate with multiple technical teams (application, infrastructure, network, cloud, DNS, security, vendor) for planning and execution of WAF onboarding and DNS/traffic routing activities.
Develop and maintain implementation plans, dashboards, risk logs, and documentation while managing multiple WAF implementions in parallel with risk identification and escalation.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related technical field.
7+ years experience in Information Security, Application Security, Network Security, Cloud Security, Infrastructure Security, or related roles.
Working knowledge of WAF technologies, DNS concepts, web application traffic flows (HTTP/HTTPS, TLS), and basic web application security risks (OWASP Top 10).
Familiarity with cloud services and cloud-native WAF platforms (AWS WAF, Azure WAF, Google Cloud Armor).
Experienced in managing complex WAF security implementations involving cross-functional collaboration across technical and business teams.
Strong program and stakeholder management skills to track, communicate progress and resolve blockers across multiple concurrent projects.
Technically inclined with deep understanding of application architectures, security vulnerabilities, cloud hosting models, and WAF tuning and monitoring practices.
