Develop and maintain high-level control and automation systems for OEM industrial machinery using PLCs, HMIs, motion controllers, and associated software, focusing on motion programming and emerging technologies.
Design and implement automation solutions including safety and motion controls primarily using Rockwell (AB) hardware and software, with potential use of B&R, Siemens, or others.
Provide expert-level troubleshooting, diagnostics, and technical guidance to production, service, and engineering teams, supporting new and existing product lines.
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Mechatronics engineering or related field.
Minimum 15 years of experience in controls or automation engineering with industrial manufacturing equipment focusing on motion control, automated processes, and system integration.
Strong experience with Allen-Bradley (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, PLC5, SLC500) PLCs, PanelView HMIs, industrial communication networks (Ethernet, Ethernet I/P, DeviceNet, DH+), and software like Studio 5000 and FactoryTalk.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 20%, including occasional international travel; valid driver’s license and passport ability required.
Proven ability to implement technical solutions aligned with strategic goals in industrial manufacturing environments like food, consumer products, or pharmaceuticals.
Experience working in or with OEMs in paper, packaging, printing, or converting manufacturing sectors preferred.
Ability to work effectively in team environments across multiple levels and geographies, providing high-level technical leadership and communication.
