Research, maintain, and resolve tax code maintenance activities including setup and reconciliation of tax codes QTD and YTD.
Assist clients with Power of Attorney and Third-Party Administrator requests related to payroll taxes and support payroll tax projects (SUI, SIT, FIT).
Perform payroll tax reconciliations, analysis, issue resolution, and liaise with customers and payroll tax agencies to negotiate timely resolutions.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field; or 1-2 years of equivalent experience in payroll tax, accounting, finance, or customer service operations.
Demonstrated experience in payroll tax reconciliations and analysis.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with Salesforce, MasterTax, or similar payroll tax tools helpful.
Work Experience Required: Minimum 1-2 years relevant experience or equivalent education.
Experience working independently managing detailed tax code tasks and reconciling complex payroll tax data.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and negotiate resolutions with payroll tax agencies.
Familiarity with payroll tax systems and comfort handling customer-facing responsibilities.
