Own determination and recording of Software Safety Requirements from system-level inputs through to implementation, ensuring traceability and verification.
Lead Software Safety Analyses including DFMEA or Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), and impact analysis at software level.
Create and modify Programming Guidelines and Methods aligned with ISO 26262 standards, support software development lifecycle reviews, safety plans, and safety case documentation.
8-10 years of experience in software coding in automotive domain with functional safety focus.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Software Engineering.
Experience with functional safety standards including ISO 26262; knowledge of software safety analysis methods (FMEA, HAZOP).
Work Experience Required: 8-10 years; Location: Hyderabad, India.
Experienced in automotive software development especially in functional safety context, preferably with AUTOSAR base software knowledge.
Familiarity with ASIL decomposition techniques, software safety planning, and safety case development in accordance with ISO 26262:2018.
Comfortable operating in agile development environments like DevOps; knowledge of automotive products such as transmissions or electric drives is a plus.
