Lead planning and execution of Pure Earth India’s programmatic communications strategy, focusing on IEC/SBCC content development and rollout.
Manage end-to-end coordination with state program teams, partners, global teams, and vendors to deliver communication outputs.
Own social media, newsletter, editorial content creation, vendor management, and project coordination for programmatic communications.
Master’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Development Studies, Public Health, Social Work, or related field, or equivalent experience.
6–10 years of communications experience, preferably in development sector; experience in public/environmental health preferred.
Proven experience designing and implementing SBCC campaigns including audience analysis, message development, and material production.
Mandatory technical skills: strong written English; must have Canva proficiency; Wordpress experience; familiarity with newsletter/email tools (Mailchimp, HubSpot etc.); comfortable with project management tools (Asana, Trello, Notion or similar).
Experienced in leading community-level behaviour change communication campaigns using SBCC strategies adaptable to diverse audiences.
Capable of managing multiple communication formats and channels including social media, newsletters, blogs, reports, and IEC materials for public health/environmental sectors.
Operates effectively in cross-functional teams spanning local, state, and global programmatic stakeholders and manages external vendors and budgets with attention to deadlines.
