Plan, develop, and execute test cases for embedded Linux, platform software, and multi-architecture systems covering kernel, BSP, integration, regression, and platform validation tests.
Troubleshoot system issues, document defects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support resolution and meet project schedules and quality goals.
Support verification, validation, certification activities, test planning, defect management, documentation of quality evidence, and audit-readiness where applicable.
8+ years of experience in embedded software testing, Linux system, BSP, kernel, platform validation, integration testing, or system-level software quality engineering.
Strong programming and OS knowledge including Linux, C/C++, scripting, debugging, test automation, embedded tools, and hardware/software integration.
Experience documenting test cases, defects, test results, validation evidence, and quality artifacts.
Ability to collaborate with engineering, product, support, DevOps, certification, and delivery teams to resolve issues and meet schedules.
Experienced in testing mission-critical embedded software in aerospace, defense, automotive, telecom, industrial, medical, or intelligent-edge domains.
Familiarity with verification and validation processes, DO-178C, safety certification standards, and software quality assurance concepts.
Comfortable working with DevOps testing workflows, Git, Polarion, Kubernetes, containers, simulation environments, real-time systems, and multi-platform Linux/BSP environments.
