Manage accounting and revenue acceptance processes for Mastercard Contra Revenue line items such as rebates, incentives, waivers, and claw backs.
Ensure timely and accurate financial close by preparing and reviewing journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and accrual adjustments.
Lead country-level meetings with business managers to review accruals and deal performance and support process improvements and SOX compliance.
Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CA/CPA and MBA preferred.
Progressive accounting experience, preferably in a large, global environment.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and accounting principles.
Advanced MS Excel and experience with financial/ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
Demonstrated ability to manage detailed accounting processes for rebates, incentives, and related contra revenue accounts in a multinational setting.
Experience working with cross-functional business partners and leading financial meetings to adjust accruals based on deal performance.
Skilled in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and control compliance.
