Own the end-to-end health and automation of the regression test suite across core product families, converting manual tests to trusted automated tests.
Establish and enforce objective quality gates for releases, including running automated and manual verifications to prevent regressions.
Build, architect, and lead adoption of a high-quality test automation framework, and manage a small quality engineering team.
8–13 years in test automation or quality engineering, including 3–5 years in a lead or staff role owning both framework and team (2–6 people).
Hands-on, current expertise in TypeScript/JavaScript and production-scale experience with Playwright or equivalent browser automation (WebdriverIO, Cypress).
Experience with CI/CD test execution infrastructure including sharding, parallelism, and flake control.
Work Location: Bengaluru, In-office full-time.
Demonstrated ability to design, build, and drive adoption of a CI-integrated test automation framework covering web plus at least one non-web surface (desktop, mobile, or API).
Experience holding release quality gates with authority to block releases based on objective, evidence-based criteria.
Familiarity with complex stateful UIs, rigorous test quality metrics (e.g., mutation testing), and leadership experience growing a small team in a high-ownership environment.
