Lead specification, development, and continuous improvement of control systems and technologies for power generators, including remote monitoring and diagnostic functions.
Define and enforce best engineering practices and ensure compliance with national/international standards for controls systems, including safety instrumented systems.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to refine engineering specifications that enhance product performance and commercial potential across different applications and environments.
Engineering degree, preferably Mechanical.
Minimum 7 years professional experience as a Controls Engineer with Power Generation industry-specific knowledge.
Experience with generator design standards, control systems, HMI and Codesys application development, telemetry, and safety instrumented systems.
Position is full-time and based in Pune, India.
Controls systems subject matter expert familiar with multi-disciplinary engineering environments and generator control applications.
Proficient in control platforms such as DSE, DI.ANE, Deif, Comap, Woodward, GAC and up-to-date with control system technologies (PLC, SCADA, telemetry).
Experienced in fast-track product development and adapting control systems to diverse market needs and applications with a focus on efficiency and reliability.
