Own the engineering, deployment, and operational support of TTEC's DCX SIP and carrier infrastructure including Ribbon (Sonus) SBC platforms and SIP/TDM carrier systems.
Lead carrier optimization, client launches, migrations, incident resolution, vendor coordination, and automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, participate in audit/compliance efforts, and support 24x7 on-call rotations for business-critical voice infrastructure services.
Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
10+ years hands-on experience with SIP, TDM, carrier infrastructure, and enterprise voice platforms including Ribbon (Sonus) 5200/5400 SBCs.
Strong knowledge of SIP/TDM protocols (SIP, T1, E1, DS3, ONS), voice/network protocols (SIP, H.323, QoS, DHCP, SNMP, SS7, etc.), voice codecs (G.729, G.711, OPUS), and VMware virtualization platforms.
Must be able to participate in on-call rotations and support services during non-business hours.
Demonstrated ability to lead complex SIP and carrier infrastructure issue resolution across cross-functional teams and vendors with strong ownership mentality.
Experience balancing technical reliability, operational readiness, cost optimization, and customer impact in voice infrastructure design and changes.
Forward-thinking in adopting automation, AI-enabled tools, monitoring, and documentation to improve operational maturity and audit readiness.
