Platform Engineering Lead- Data Services & Reporting

Own and drive the end-to-end platform engineering strategy, design authority, and technical governance for the global enterprise-wide Data Services and Reporting platform.

Lead architectural rationalization and unify data virtualization, API design, and reporting layers into a cohesive, scalable, and secure ecosystem while partnering with Enterprise Architecture and AI design teams.

Champion adoption of generative AI tools to accelerate development, automate infrastructure-as-code, and improve technical quality across the data and reporting stack.

12-15+ years in software or platform engineering roles within large-scale, regulated environments (preferably financial services).

5+ years in senior engineering leadership, principal architect, or platform tech lead role focusing on platform modernization and technical governance.

Expert hands-on Java programming with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Hibernate/JPA; strong experience in data federation and query optimization concepts.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related engineering field.

Experienced senior technical leader skilled in platform architecture with demonstrated ability to govern and rationalize complex, enterprise-scale data and reporting systems.

Proficient in integrating backend data processing with frontend BI/reporting tools and enforcing strict enterprise-standard designs and security controls.

Strong practitioner and advocate of generative AI tooling adoption to boost engineering productivity and platform delivery speed.
