Own end-to-end quality engineering for backend, API, UI, and event-driven systems including test automation, performance/load testing, and observability.
Design, develop, maintain automated test frameworks and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines for UI and backend services using tools such as REST Assured and Selenium/Playwright.
Lead debugging and root-cause analysis across distributed microservices, Kafka streams, databases, and infrastructure to identify and resolve complex production/non-production issues.
6 - 8 years of experience in Software Testing, SDET, or Quality Engineering.
Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or equivalent.
Hands-on expertise with API automation (REST Assured or equivalent), UI automation (Selenium, Playwright, or equivalent), Kafka, performance/load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling, Locust), and monitoring tools such as Grafana and Dynatrace.
Work Experience Required: 6 - 8 years
Experienced in testing complex distributed systems with strong ability to work across API-based and event/stream-based services and architectures.
Demonstrates strong ownership of quality through defining test strategies, mentoring peers, and improving frameworks and processes.
Capable of independent root-cause analysis and debugging using logs, distributed traces, and monitoring tools within agile environments.
