Build and own scalable, secure, and performant end-to-end features for Postman’s Collections platform addressing data consistency, storage efficiency, and system reliability at scale.
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, designers, and product managers to iterate quickly and deliver technical and user-centric solutions including prototypes for new features.
Drive engineering best practices including code quality, system design, testing improvements, and mentoring peers to enhance operational excellence.
2-4 years of software engineering experience with a track record of shipping features at scale.
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and databases (SQL/NoSQL), including query optimization and schema design.
Strong computer science fundamentals such as algorithms, networking, and operating systems relevant to large-scale system challenges.
Work model: Hybrid (currently 3 days in office in Bangalore with planned transition to 5 days/week).
Demonstrates strong ownership mindset capable of taking features from design to production while handling ambiguity and constraints.
Experience working on high-scale distributed systems or platforms requiring performance and reliability optimization.
Comfortable working agilely with a pragmatic, iterative approach balancing product needs and technical challenges.
