Support integration of climate action across India programmes focused on Better Cotton Initiatives Principles & Criteria v3.2.
Lead capacity building and coordinate research on climate-smart agriculture, climate risk mitigation, and Payment for Ecosystem Services projects with multiple programme partners.
Monitor and communicate climate-related project outcomes, support continuous improvement, and prepare technical and communication materials.
Masters degree in Climate Change, Natural Resource Management, Environmental Sciences, Soil Science, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, including at least 2 years with grassroots organisations and rural communities.
Experience with action-oriented research, managing multi-stakeholder projects, and strong data-driven decision-making skills.
Willingness and ability to travel regularly within India and occasionally internationally (up to 25%).

Demonstrated ability to apply geospatial analysis (GIS, remote sensing) and carbon accounting in agriculture or climate initiatives.
Prior work in international non-profits and/or cotton/agriculture sectors with proven skills in managing climate adaptation, mitigation, and Payments for Ecosystem Services projects.
