Specialist Assistant Manager - Accounts Receivable - Government and Public Services - Hyderabad

Own and manage invoicing activities for Government Public Sector clients, ensuring compliance with accounts receivable policies and federal guidelines across various contract types.

Lead account management including handling escalations, maintaining client accounts, and driving low Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) through strong portfolio practices.

Collaborate with US/USI teams and sector managers to perform quality audits, recommend process improvements, mentor team members, and co-lead sector meetings and presentations.

Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, business, finance, or related field.

6-8 years of relevant experience in accounting operations including invoicing, ledger management, financial analysis, reconciliations, and process improvements.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with advanced data analysis and financial modeling skills.

Work Experience Required: 6-8 years in accounting operations specialized in Government Public Sector is preferred; proficiency with federal invoicing platforms (WAWF/iRAPT, IPP, MPO, HHMSA) and knowledge of federal regulations (FAR, DAR, JTR, GSA) is preferred.

Experienced in managing government contract accounting and receivables for US Federal Government clients with knowledge of specialized invoicing and accounting systems (e.g., Deltek Costpoint).

Demonstrated ability to lead account operations ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely invoicing in a collaborative cross-geography environment (US and USI).

Skilled in process improvement, mentoring teams, managing escalations, and driving operational efficiency with strong attention to detail and analytical capabilities.
