Own and manage the complete lifecycle of content development and production projects for Math, Statistics, Engineering, and Computer Science titles across print and digital formats, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
Manage author relationships, multiple vendors, and subject matter experts; oversee rights and permissions to resolve editorial and rights issues during content creation and production.
Provide status communication to stakeholders, lead problem-solving and innovation in project planning and delivery, and maintain high standards for content structure, enrichment, and accessibility.
Bachelor’s Degree required.
3-5 years of project management experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Project, Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator, Photoshop, and basic HTML/XML/CSS coding.
Prior publishing experience with thorough knowledge of industry standards and basic understanding of rights and permissions process.
Experienced in managing complex multi-format content projects within publishing, especially in STEM subjects like Math, Statistics, Engineering, and Computer Science.
Strong leadership and communication skills demonstrated through managing authors, vendors, and cross-functional teams with clear status reporting.
Capable of applying knowledge of print-to-digital publishing transitions, editorial workflows, and production processes to ensure high-quality commercial outcomes.
