Develop and implement new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team to meet business needs.
Oversee all phases of development including analysis, design, construction, testing, implementation, and provide user and operational support.
Serve as subject matter expert (SME) advising senior stakeholders, coaching junior analysts, and ensuring compliance with governance and risk policies.
8-12 years of experience in application development with hands-on Java, Kafka, Big Data frameworks, and distributed systems.
Strong knowledge of Java, Spring framework, Kafka, and distributed cache/systems such as Apache Ignite or Redis.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Experience with relational databases (Oracle) required; NoSQL databases (MongoDB or Apache Iceberg) and Python preferred but not mandatory.
Experienced in microservices architecture and API-first design with REST, WebSocket, and gRPC implementations.
Proven ability to independently manage complex development projects and deliver enterprise-level design patterns and architecture.
Familiarity with cloud platforms and container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift is advantageous.
