Manage the full lifecycle of automotive product security incidents from detection through resolution and communication.
Conduct technical triage, risk assessment, and root-cause analysis of security incidents affecting vehicle safety and security standards (e.g., ISO 26262).
Develop and maintain incident response plans for ECUs and vehicle platforms; provide authoritative guidance and technical communication to engineering teams, OEMs, and regulators.
5–6 years of experience in automotive product development or testing with knowledge of product cybersecurity and experience in Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA).
Hands-on experience with security incident response, vulnerability analysis, or product security research in embedded systems or automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet).
Understanding of embedded OS (QNX, Embedded Linux), Hardware Security Modules, and cryptography applied to vehicle networks.
Work Experience Required: 5–6 years in relevant automotive and cybersecurity roles.
Experienced in managing complex cybersecurity incidents within automotive embedded systems and product security lifecycle.
Skilled in translating complex technical vulnerabilities into clear executive-level reports for diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Familiar with automotive security standards and regulations such as ISO/SAE 21434 and UN R155/R156, and comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary, safety-critical environment.
