Architect, design, and implement middleware platform engineering solutions focusing on GoAnywhere MFT, AWS MSK (Kafka), IBM MQ, and AWS ElastiCache.
Lead reliability, security, and performance management for enterprise integration and messaging platforms, including high availability, disaster recovery, and compliance readiness.
Operate and maintain middleware environments, support production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate on integration and secure connectivity with application and infrastructure teams.
5-7 years experience in middleware/integration/platform engineering roles supporting production systems.
Hands-on administration experience (6-7 years) with at least two of the following: Kafka (AWS MSK), GoAnywhere MFT, AWS ElastiCache (Redis/Memcached), IBM MQ.
Strong Linux administration and networking fundamentals (DNS, TLS, firewalls, ports) with production support experience including incident management and change processes.
Working knowledge of AWS core services (VPC, IAM, EC2, CloudWatch, security groups, KMS, Secrets Manager/Parameter Store) and scripting/automation skills (Python/Shell).
Experts with deep operational and tuning knowledge in one or more middleware platforms: IBM MQ clustering and security, Kafka partitioning and ACLs, GoAnywhere MFT workflows and compliance, or ElastiCache Redis replication and latency tuning.
Experienced in designing and executing disaster recovery strategies and resilience testing including failover drills/game days.
Skilled in observability tooling for middleware (metrics, logs, tracing, alerts), incident response, and continuous service improvement in complex distributed environments.
